Hitchin Priory wedding photography
Hitchin Priory is a charming 14th Century building, set in 19 acres of magnificent gardens and parkland nestling on the River Hiz. Steeped in history dating back to 1317, Hitchin Priory was later patronised by Henry VIII and many original features remain, including cloisters, Monks Walk with its original beams and large banqueting halls with grand fireplaces. Truly a stunning setting for your perfect wedding.
Hitchin Priory is licensed for Civil Ceremonies from 20 people to 100 people, conducted in the splendour of the Main House with elegantly decorated, beautifully appointed reception rooms for smaller weddings. You can invite up to 80 guests for your Wedding Breakfast in the Main House, or up to 200 guests in the Priory Marquee, and for your evening reception up to 200 guests in the Main House, and 300 guests in the Marquee.
