Long Wittenham wedding
I met Charlotte and Royston at their parents house to chat about their Long Wittenham wedding last year. From that first meeting I know they would be a great fun couple to photograph and I wasn’t wrong.
The days weather was ideal, a little rainy in the morning, however by midday the clouds had albeit disappeared and the sun was on full display. I met Charlotte at her parents house for the bridal preparations. She looked absolutely stunning.
The ceremony was planned for 12.30 at St Mary the Virgin, Long Wittenham. A delightful church which dates back to 1300. The bride arrived in a horse drawn carriage, which the family had planned for her as a surprise. She certainly was as she was transported in style to the church.
A lovely service was held by Revd Anne Isley; the happy couple literally danced back down the aisle following the service.
The guys moved on to a very special reception held in a marquee at the back of Long Wittenham fields. A stunning location. No detail had been overlooked, ranging from the fresh flowers through to the black and white dance floor and the multi coloured paper lanterns. The marquee which backed on to open fields created the perfect back drop for thru wedding photos.
The best mans speech had everyone rolling around in laughter. A very special day and perfect Long Wittenham wedding.
Some of my favourite photos from the guys very special day follow below. Take a look and leave a lovely comment.
